As one of Albuquerque's most popular museum, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is where the young and old can fully experience the natural history of the American Southwest from prehistoric times to the present day. Visit exhibits on zoology, botany, geology and paleontology.
TimeTracks exhibits will take you through this journey, they include; Origins, Dawn of Dinosaurs, Jurassic Super Giants, New Mexico’s Seacoast, Age of Volcanoes, Tertiary Hall, The Cave Experience and New Mexico’s Ice Age. Some of the other exhibits include; Giant Millipede Trackway , Mars Exploration Rovers Return, Microcomputer History Gallery, Naturalist Center, Fossil Works and Entrance Dinos.
In addition to the museum, there is also the new DynaTheater where spectacular nature films are shown and the LodeStar Science Center, a state-of-the-art planetarium.

Directions:
From Interstate 40, take Rio Grande Boulevard South about half a mile to Mountain Road, then East on Mountain Road less than a half a mile to the Museum, turning North on 18th Street to the parking lot. The Museum entrance is on 18th Street.
